Semi-finished products made of thermoplastics are an excellent and durable solution for modern, first-class apparatus and tank construction and the production of wear-resistant products. In the chemical and heavy industries and in plant construction, various requirements exist for semi-finished products in terms of acid and lye resistance, temperature changes and low static load in explosion risk areas (ATEX).
This explains why plastic sheets, welding rods and round bars made of materials such as PE, PP, PVDF, ETFE, FEP and PFA have been used successfully for many years, especially in this segment. The latest developments for AGRU apparatus and tank construction are sheets and welding rods made of PE100 RC, characterized by excellent stress crack resistance. Our production methods include welding as well as various proven joining technologies such as extrusion and hot gas welding.
